Abby Goldfarb

Abby hails from the West Village in New York City. She is currently a Junior BFA Musical Theatre Major at Emerson College. Previous New York experience includes: Animal Crackers (The Professor); The Boys From Syracuse (Luce); HAIR (Aquarius Soloist); Into The Woods (Little Red); and Nine (Luisa). For six years she attended the performing arts training center Stagedoor Manor in Loch Sheldrake, NY, attended by stars like Zach Braff, Natalie Portman, Mandy Moore and Robert Downey Jr., where she won a playwriting competition for her 10-minute play I’ll Be Waitin’. Her play was published by Samuel French in 2008 a part of the Anthology of Ten-Minute Plays in Stephen Sondheim’s Young playwrights series. She also attended The American Academy of Dramatic Arts for their summer training program in 2008. Emerson credits include: Man of La Mancha (Fermina, Paramount Theatre), Dear Edwina (Annie); The 25th Annual Putnum County Spelling Bee (Marcy Park); The Wiz (Evilene); Ruthless (Pippi); and the 2009, 2010, and 2011 Family Weekend Showcase (Featured Soloist, Majestic Theatre). Over the past two summers, she has interned for The Players Theatre on MacDougal Street (Off-Broadway) and worked in promotions and advertising for The Snapple Theare Center at TKTS in Times Square.
